As a result over 6 million tons of wooden pallets are being dumped each year.

Over 1 million acres of hardwood forests are being destroyed every year and will take decades to replace.

TOXICITY

Solid polystyrene polymer combusts at 40,172 kj/kg. Products are carbon dioxide, soot and a small amount of carbon monoxide. The products of combustion are no more toxic than those produced by wood and are substantially less than other plastics and conventional materials.

RECYCLING AND DISPOSAL

MITIELITE PALLETS exhibit a range of qualities which will ensure a long useful life. In the case of an uncoated base pallet, once it exceeds its useful life, it can be easily shredded in existing facilities and the product re-used in other EPS products.

In the case of coated pallets,we are aware that various countries have diverse recycling and disposal requirements and we are able to vary the coating composition and type to accommodate, within reason to the requirements.
