MITIELITE PALLETS overcome most of the disadvantages of timber pallets and bring a range of unique benefits to their users.

1. Depending upon the rated load, MITIELITE PALLETS weigh between 5% and 12% of the weight of a typical timber pallet. This maximises cost benefits to the end user and reduces the incidence of one way usage, greatly extending the usable life of the pallet. As well, the low cost of MITIELITE PALLETS makes unavoidable single use affordable.

2. Their unitary construction and smooth surfaces eliminates inherent structural degradation in use, and greatly extends their usable life and reliability. Whilst they are subject to accidental damage, their load capacity is generally unimpaired and are quick and easy to repair.

3. MITIELITE PALLETS represent no hazard to staff. They are light enough to be picked up and carried by a child, and have no sharp edges or protrusions.

4. Their light weight, shock absorbing properties and food rating greatly expand their relevance and appeal to a wide range of industries that have not been able to use timber pallets due to their limitations.

5. MITIELITE PALLETS can be accessed by lifting equipment from all four sides, greatly reducing difficulty and cost of handling.

6. MITIELITE PALLETS can be easily and cheaply recycled by shredding and the material can be re-used in other EPS products.

7. EPS is fire retardant and if incinerated the products of combustion are no more harmful than those of combusted wood.

8. MITIELIE PALLETS can be engineered during manufacture to specific load and handling environment specifications and requirements.

9. MITIELITE PALLETS retain their structural and insulative properties over a range of temperatures above 40°c to below -35°c this, along with their food rating makes them ideal for the transportation of foodstuffs and other perishables over international distances. Their smooth surfaces ensure that there is no damage to floors and walls of mobile freezer units.

10. The light weight of MITIELITE PALLETS makes their repositioning empty by road, sea or air economical, further increasing their appeal for multi use and reducing cost. This quality will also help to reduce the overall number of pallets in world use.

11. MITIELITE PALLETS do not absorb water, but their surface is subject to minimal amount of wetting in wet conditions. Their tare weight does not significantly increase and if contaminated with acidic or toxic liquids, they are easy to clean.

12. MITIELITE PALLETS are not generally subject to quarantine.

13. Satellite tracking microchips can be impregnated into the pallet enabling individual pallets to be accurately located in real time anywhere in the world.

14. MITIELITE PALLETS are made from materials which display a wide range of desirable properties and the combination of expanded polystyrene and surface coatings yields a product which combines the best qualities of both.

15. MITIELITE PALLETS can be produced to conform with all world size standards and can be colour coded for user or product identification.
